What is the difference between bumgenius and flip

I plan to use the BGs I have OTW as nighttime dipes because they have a stay dry liner to keep LO's bum dry as she sleeps longer and are a no-brainer for nighttime changes which I tend to do with only 1 eye open, lol. The outsides are exactly the same. The inside, however, is different. The BG 4. It's nice when you want your baby to feel dry the microfleece helps.

I can put a microfleece liner in my prefolds under a Flip and reuse the Flip cover, but the BGs just take that step away. Plus, you can pre-stuff a BG 4. I use primarily bumgenius pockets and I decided to try the flip system. Its not really for me.

I like being able to grab a stuffed pocket and go, the changing of the inserts was more of a pain to me. Also I only have one cover and 3 inserts and it seems like LO always takes a poop in the flip, so then Im left with 2 inserts I never use.

Thank you all! We are currently using prefolds and covers and I was thinking of switching to Flips. Still not sure what to do, as that prefolds work great for us but I don't like that our LO grows out of the sizes so thought a 1-size might be better. I use Flip covers over prefolds- they work great. They might still have some in the clearance section on cottonbabies. This is where you insert the absorbent layer in the diaper.
